2026 Market Pricing 

Application Fees are as follows and are due within 15 days of approval into the market to confirm your booth space:

1. Standard Vendor Sunday Market- A one-time $65 application fee must be paid upon acceptance into the market to confirm and hold your booth space.
2. Community/Non-profit - A one-time $25 application fee must be paid upon acceptance into the market to confirm and hold your booth space.
3. Artist Market at the Farmers Market – A one-time $40 application fee must be paid upon acceptance into the market to confirm and hold your booth space.
4. Young Entrepreneurs/Young Farmers – A one-time $15 application fee must be paid upon acceptance into the market to confirm and hold your booth space
5. Commercial – Commercial booths will be allowed to participate in the Farmers Market through sponsorship only.

Daily Market Fees:

Market Fees will be collected each week at the conclusion of the market day. 

1. Standard Vendor Sunday Market- Standard Vendors are required to pay 7% of gross sales at the end of each market day attended. The market fee minimum is $15. If the 7% of gross sales owed is less, then a flat rate of $15 will be charged as the 7% market fee. The minimum fee does not include sales tax which will be based on actual gross sales. CoLFM will collect an additional 3% for the City of Loveland Sales Tax for vendors that do not have Loveland Business License. Vendors with a City of Loveland Business License may choose to pay taxes on their own. Please be aware that there are new tax regulations for the City of Loveland. 
2. Community/Non-profit -NOT SELLING - Vendors are required to pay $15 at the end of each market day attended. Community/non-profits are limited to one 10x10 booth per week. 
3. Community/Non-profit- SELLING- All non-profit vendors must collect and pay taxes. The non-profit is viewed as a pass-through organization and while the non-profit may be tax exempt, the paying customers are not. Vendors are required to pay 7% of gross sales at the end of each market day attended. The market fee minimum is $15. If the 7% of gross sales owed is less, then a flat rate of $15 will be charged as the 7% market fee.  CoLFM will collect an additional 3% for the City of Loveland Sales Tax for vendors that do not have Loveland Business License. 
4. Artist Market at the Farmers Market –Artists at the Farmers Market - are required to pay 10% of gross sales at the end of each market day attended (7% for market, 3% for City of Loveland Sales Tax). The market fee minimum is $15. If the 7% of gross sales owed is less, then a flat rate of $15 will be charged as the 7% market fee. The minimum fee does not include sales tax which will be based on actual gross sales. Vendors with a City of Loveland Business License may choose to pay taxes on their own. 
5. Young Entrepreneurs/Young Farmers (under 18) – Young Entrepreneurs/Young Farmers – are required to pay a flat rate of $15 at the end of each market day attended unless sales are $500 or over. If sales are $500 or more a 7% market fee will be collected plus 3% for City of Loveland tax, if applicable. Vendors with a City of Loveland Business License may choose to pay taxes on their own.

Minimum of 40lbs per tent leg.

Fines

• No Show-$50 (includes cancellations after 4pm Friday week of market)
• Late cancellation- $30 (includes cancellations after 4pm Wednesday-Friday before 4pm week of market)
• Arrive Late- $30
• Leave early- $30
• Failure to Clean up booth space at the end of a market day - $50
• Failure to report fees at end of market day - $50
• Bringing Personal Pets or Selling Animals - $75
• Less than 40lbs. per tent leg - Must remove tent. 2^nd occurrence is $40 & tent is removed

NEW! IMPORTANT! Starting January 1^st, 2024. Food for Home Consumption products will be EXEMPT from City of Loveland 3% sales tax.

• FOOD PURCHASES EXEMPT FROM LOVELAND SALES TAX
  • Food purchased for human consumption at home.
    • Ex: Produce, jams, honey, dairy, breads, nuts, any products NOT preheated or prepared for onsite consumption.
  • Food purchased with EBT funds.

In accordance with all City facility vendor agreements, all Vendors are required to procure and maintain, at the sole expense of the Vendor, Commercial General Liability with a combined single limit of coverage no less than one million dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence and one million dollars ($1,000,000) in the aggregate for the entire duration of the event.

 Important Insurance Requirements: 

• Limit: $1,000,000/occurrence & $1,000,000/aggregate
• The Policy Effective dates should cover the entire duration of the event
• The policy should list the City of Loveland, CO as an Additional Insured
• A Certificate of Insurance (COI) must be provided to the City 5 days prior to the first day of the event

    

  To assist Vendors with securing this coverage, below is a list of several insurance carriers who have historically been able to offer insurance policies that meet the described insurance requirements.

  For each of these carriers, simply navigate to their website outlined below. Once on their page, follow the onscreen prompts to fill in the necessary information. Once you have filled in all required information, the website will provide a quote for your scheduled event. Once quoted, you will have the option to pay for the policy with a credit card. Once payment is made, the website will automatically generate a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that must be provided to the City prior to the start of the event. Questions on the quoting process or on the available coverage options should be directed to the phone numbers & emails of the chosen carrier listed on their website.

How to get to the Farmers Market in Loveland 

700 S. Railroad Avenue in Loveland
Pavilions #1 and #2 at the far north end of Fairgrounds Park

The address is 700 S. Railroad Ave. Railroad Ave. also is called S. Roosevelt Ave. north of the Big Thompson River when in Google maps. Fairgrounds Park is located south of First St. and west of Highway 287. The park is west of Barnes Park and the Barnes Softball Complex and Batting Cages.

Food Trucks at the Loveland Farmers Market

 The City of Loveland Farmers Market operates Sundays from 9:00AM - 1:00PM June 7– Sept 27, 2026.

• Food trucks will be required to pay a $35 flat rate for each appearance at the farmers market.
• There is limited electricity at the park; please let Kerry know if you need electricity or plan to use a generator.
• We ask that food trucks do not arrive before 8:30AM in order to give vendors a chance to unload and move vehicles from the curb.
• No-show fee of $55 will be fined per each occasion; this must be paid prior to returning to the market. 

Selection Criteria

• A maximum of two food trucks will be allowed at any time.
• Once approved through the city, please email Kerry Helke at kerry.helke@cityofloveland.org and send her your completed food truck application.
• Trucks will be assigned dates based on availability at time of submission and variety of foods being offered (i.e., we'll try to avoid having menus that are similar).

*Food trucks with completed permits will be eligible to participate in any City-organized event. Event coordinators will set prices and event-specific rules in accordance with their guidelines. Completed permit does not guarantee a space at any City event. Contact  the City Clerks office for permit information.

Food Truck Applications 

Musicians

 Due to an increase in interest in playing at this market, there is now a formal application process.

Requirements

• All musicians are required to play from 10:00AM – 1:00PM, with appropriate breaks.
• All musicians earn $150 per weekend.
• The City of Loveland farmers market will provide one 10x10 pop-up tent and electricity. The musician must supply all other equipment.
• Musicians are allowed to accept tips and can sell merchandise directly related to their music.
• All musicians will be required to sign a City of Loveland performance contract and register with the City as a vendor, if they haven't already.
• Musicians may not play too loud; vendors must be able to converse with their customers.
• While there are no restrictions on genre, we do require musicians to play family-friendly music.

A panel of market staff will select musicians. Returning musicians in good standing with the market will be given priority for date selection.

Although well-behaved domesticated pets are welcome in our parks, we generally discourage bringing them to our special events and the farmers market.

The market aisles are narrow and it can get very crowded.  Animals can easily get overstimulated in this situation with crowds, loud noises and other animals and react in unfamiliar ways. There are typically strollers, wheelchairs, and some folks who may have a fear of animals.  Please be considerate of your animals needs and those of other people at the market. Service animals, however, are always welcome.
