Join us for a free paint recycling and shred event at the Forge Campus. Bring your unused paint cans and old documents to securely and safely dispose both items at once. Paint and Shred Event Directions: The event will be held at the Forge Campus east parking lot (near Building D), please enter from the east entrance off South Colorado Avenue. Go past the Pulse entrance off 14th Street SW and enter through South Colorado Avenue. Need help getting there? View our map!

Paint Event

Acceptable Items Include:

• Paint in its original, non-leaking, labeled container
• Oil-based, acrylic, and latex paints
• Stains, shellacs, lacquers, sealers, varnishes and urethanes
• Containers from sample sizes up to five-gallon containers

Items Not Accepted:

• Spray paint, paint thinners, and solvents
• Cleaning agents, adhesives, and other hazardous wastes

Shred Event

Details:

• No Yard Waste permit required
• Limit: Five bags/boxes per vehicle
• Bags: Under 13-gallon standard kitchen size
• Boxes: Banker's box size (18' max) 
• All shredded paper will be recycled 
• Anyone who has a home shredder may bring shredded paper to the Recycling Center any time of the year.
